CALL FOR PAPER

We welcome submissions from researchers, academics, and professionals in the field. Papers should be original and not previously published or under review elsewhere. It is advised to all the prospective author (S) To Read the Terms and conditions carefully To Avoid Rejection of the Manuscript. We have four (4) filters for accepting or rejecting the manuscript. The author should take note to that in the below guidelines.

Any topic related to Law, Polity, Administration, Human Rights and good Governance.

(c) Case Comments (1000 – 2000 words)

THEMES FOR MANUSCRIPT

Author(s) need to submit the manuscript along with an Abstract (abstract shall not be more than 350 words) and keywords for the manuscript.

The journal welcomes theoretical, empirical, and interdisciplinary studies, including but not limited to:

  • International human rights law and constitutional studies
  • Criminal justice system and human rights issues
  • Environmental rights and sustainable development
  • Right to food, health, education, and other socio-economic rights
  • Public policy, governance, and legal frameworks
  • Law, political science, and public administration
  • Emerging issues in human rights and global justice

CO-AUTHORSHIP LIMIT

Co-authorship is allowed for only two Authors for a single submission.

Manuscript Submission (Last Date): Till 30th May for 1st issue and 15th Oct for 2nd issue [every Year] for this Half Yearly Publication.

Review Results (Acceptance/Rejection) Communication: 15th June for 1st issue and 30th Oct for 2nd issue [every Year]

Final Submission of Paper (if Review required): 20th June for 1st issue and 15th Nov. for 2nd issue [every Year]

Manuscript Publication: Within 15 working days after final submission.

Disposal of E-Certificate to registered E-Mail of Author: Within 15 working days, after the publication.

The International Journal of Human Rights and Law (IJHRL) does not charge any submission or publication fee. Authors are not required to pay any Article Processing Charges (APC).

FILTER 1

A. General Guidelines for Author(s)

  1. Papers must be original which must be written solely by the Author(s), in English, and should not have been submitted for publication elsewhere. Please read the Copyright Policy carefully before submission.
  2. Plagiarism is strictly prohibited and shall lead to immediate rejection. Please refer to the plagiarism policy before submission.
  3. Permissible Similarity for the submission in below 15%. We use Trunitin for the plagiarism check.

FILTER 2

B. Format of Manuscript

  1. The first page of the manuscript should only contain the name of the paper, Author Name, and affiliation followed by an abstract of not more than 300 words. From the second page, the manuscript must begin immediately thereafter by mentioning only the title of the Manuscript.
  2. All submissions have to be made in MS Word format with Font of Times New Roman with size 12 and 1.5 line space. There must not be any Border or decoration of the Manuscript.
  3. Word Limit for Research Manuscript shall not exceed than the words prescribed in above. Word limits include footnotes, endnotes, and references.
  4. Citation Method: Footnotes/Endnotes/References shall be in APA / Bluebook (21st Edition) uniform method for citation.

The Author must take note that, violation of any of the above conditions shall strictly amount to a rejection of the manuscript.

FILTER 3

After the formatting check, the manuscript will be checked for Plagiarism. If the manuscript will qualify for the Plagiarism Check then it will go for the Double-Blind Peer Review Process.

C. Double-Blind Peer Review Process

  1. This journal uses double-blind review, which means that both the reviewer and author identities are concealed from the reviewers, and vice versa, throughout the review process.
  2. It is the author’s responsibility to ensure that all references and citations are correct, and the submissions do not contain any material that infringes the copyright.
  3. The Editorial Board, as well as the Peer Reviewers, reserves the right for modification of the manuscript to maintain the standard and quality of the submission.
  4. After Double-Blind Peer Review Process the acceptance/rejection communication will be sent to the Author(s).
  5. If any input is required by the Author as per the comments of Reviewer it will be communicated.
  6. Authors are advised to strictly follow the dates and timeline.
